Voice and video
Audio channel cannot be enabled
Section titled “Audio channel cannot be enabled”Audio needs a ready voice.
Open Setup > Appearance > Voice Layer and record a voice sample.
Wait until the sample is ready, then select it for the language.
Video channel cannot be enabled
Section titled “Video channel cannot be enabled”Video needs:
- Ready video layer
Open Setup > Appearance > Video Layers and add a video layer.
No voice for a deployment language
Section titled “No voice for a deployment language”Create a voice sample for that language, or remove the language from the deployment.
Without a matching voice, SynTwin falls back to another ready voice.
Recording fails
Section titled “Recording fails”Check browser camera and microphone permissions.
For video recording:
- Look straight at the camera.
- Use good lighting.
- Keep your face in frame.
- Complete consent, speaking, and silent listening.
Video avatar unavailable during a call
Section titled “Video avatar unavailable during a call”If the video avatar cannot connect, the conversation may still preserve messages.
Try again after checking that the selected video layer is ready.
Processing takes longer than expected
Section titled “Processing takes longer than expected”Voice and video processing can take time.
Avoid re-recording repeatedly while a sample or video layer is still processing. Create a new recording only when the previous one fails or the quality is clearly unusable.
