Privacy and consent

SynTwin handles personal communication context. Treat sources, people, and recordings accordingly.

Visitor sessions show that the conversation is with an AI digital SynTwin, not the real person.

Visitors are told the conversation may be recorded and reviewed by the SynTwin’s owner.

Voice and video setup should only use recordings of the owner or another person who has consented.

Guided video recording includes a consent statement before the speaking and listening segments.

Use source access to avoid exposing sensitive material:

  • Mentioned for visitor-safe material.
  • Internal for private context the SynTwin can use but should not reveal.
  • Unavailable for sources outside this deployment’s scope.

Internal source handling is a product guardrail, not permission to upload material that must never influence the conversation.

Meeting transcripts, call notes, and email summaries can contain personal data.

Only import communication you are allowed to process in SynTwin.

API keys are shown once when created.

Revoke keys that are no longer needed or may have been exposed.

Do not upload material you would not want the SynTwin to use for its assigned context.
