File does not upload
Section titled “File does not upload”Check that the file type is supported:
.pdf.docx.pptx.md.txt.csv
Very large files may fail because upload requests have a 2-minute timeout.
Split large files by topic and upload the useful parts.
Source stays processing
Section titled “Source stays processing”Sources can move through:
- Processing
- Extracting
- Analyzing
- Indexing
- Ready
- Error
Large or complex files take longer.
If a source stays stuck, upload a smaller version or convert it to plain text.
Do not upload the same large file repeatedly. That usually creates more cleanup work without fixing the underlying file.
URL source fails
Section titled “URL source fails”Add from URL only reads publicly accessible http(s) pages.
Pages behind logins or paywalls, and addresses on private networks, cannot be ingested.
If none of the pages can be read, the source shows Error. Check the URLs and use Reprocess to try again. Reprocessing re-reads the stored URLs without discovering new linked pages.
Style rules are missing
Section titled “Style rules are missing”Style comes from communication examples.
Upload transcripts, emails, meeting notes, or sales call examples. Product docs alone are usually factual, not stylistic.
Person context appears globally
Section titled “Person context appears globally”Add relationship-specific material on the person’s screen, not in Train > Sources.
Global sources can influence any deployment that marks them Mentioned or Internal.
Unavailable sources, and unselected sources on configured deployments, are not used.
